Do you recommend ordering samples before placing a full order?
Yes, we highly recommend ordering samples as our tiles are handmade and natural variations in color and texture are to be expected.
How much overage should I calculate for my project?
We recommend ordering 15% overage to account for cuts, breakage during installation, and future repairs.
Are your tiles suitable for outdoor use?
Many of our cement and zellige tiles are suitable for outdoor use in non-freeze climates. Please check the specific product specifications for freeze-thaw ratings.
Do I need to seal my tiles?
Most handmade tiles, particularly cement and natural stone, require sealing before and after grouting to prevent staining and moisture absorption.
What is the lead time for out-of-stock items?
Lead times for custom or out-of-stock handmade tiles typically range from 8 to 14 weeks depending on the material and artisan schedule.
Can I use Zia Tile in a shower or pool?
Our tiles are excellent for wet applications; however, specific installation methods and high-quality sealants are required for submerged environments like pools.
